Bad Blogger!
I have been so bad at this blogging thing! I have a ton of stuff that I've been keeping in Word and dated...but alas, I have no way of putting it in here in any order. So, lets just say, the twins are getting big and going on 11 months old now! holy cow!
School started and Sammy is doing well. Neil's teacher is the lady that bought Scott's old house. I only met her briefly. I'll know more when we go for conferences.
I pile the twins in the van every morning and afternoon and take Sammy to school and pick him up. We even walked one day. Sammy wants to walk to school, but apparently our town has no crossing guards. No crossing guards + busy highway= Trouble (with a capital T) Why on earth do they charge for bussing, yet don't provide a crossing guard on such a busy road? I suppose if I were involved in politics and actually went to town meetings or some such thing, I'd find my answer and be able to voice my opinion.
We have been so busy here. The twins are all over everywhere. I can hear them upstairs as we speak- playing nicely in their room. We moved rooms all around. We started out with us in the master bedroom downstairs, and the twins in the other room downstairs and Sammy and Neil each had their own room upstairs. Well, now Scott and I have the small room upstairs, the twins have what was originally the master bedroom upstairs, the older boys have the master bedroom downstairs and the other room is now the office. Let me just say- it has been utter chaos! I think its harder to switch rooms around than it would be to just up and move to a new house! But, what's done is done..and now Sammy isn't jumping up and down on the twins' ceiling while they are trying to nap, and I'm not climbing up and down stairs all day to change diapers and give bottles. Not a perfect world, but will have to do until we can get another house. Maybe all on one floor next time?!
Update on the twins- They are both 75-80% in height and 25-50% in weight. The doc said just keep doing what we're doing! Spencer shakes his head no, says Dada. Corbin does "so big" and growls like a tiger They are both getting a good set of choppers, Corbin is working on #5 and Spencer has 4. They are crawling- this is new the last week or two. They have been army crawling, but Spencer figured out the real thing last week and now its fully natural and Corbin started a couple of "steps" on his knees yesterday. They had some trouble sitting up, but Spencer is a pro at it now and Corbin is getting there in a hurry! Big boys! Where did my babies go?!
